N2 Racing/KWR team ready for Daytona 200 plus kw army update

Well, we owe our fans an update! This winter has been a long, much needed break but with lots of work as we have been preparing for the 2021 season.

Daytona 200:

Daytona is now this week and I'm feeling ready to go once again to defend our #1 plate and title from 2019. I will be racing the N2 Trackdays Yamaha once again. This time we will be on Dunlop tires with help from BobbleheadMoto and the KWR crew. My chief mechanic Dave Hopkinson has prepared the best R6 I will ever ride, and I can't wait to swing my leg over it this Friday for qualifying.

We also have some associate partners for the Daytona event in Ryno Classifieds (Ryno.co) as the official classifieds website of KWR, and we will also be showcasing for the Yamaha Champions Riding Schoolas a sponsor of our Daytona 200 effort.

You can watch the Daytona 200 live on NBC Sports Gold, if you purchase TrackPass (it's $4.99 a month) which you can cancel anytime. The race coverage starts this Saturday, March 13th at 12:00pm EST. Sign up at https://www.nbcsports.com/gold/trackpass. TrackPass also includes the full season of American Flat Track, if you're interested. I watch as many flat track races as I can throughout the year as I am a former competitor, from 2006-2008.

2021 KW Army:

I have had a lot of people asking me about KW Army fan program for this year, and no, you haven't missed any deadlines! I have been working on the 2021 Army program and revamping it for this year. We will hopefully be able to launch shortly after Daytona. With our first MotoAmerica race during the April 30 weekend we have some time to get everyone's orders in.

The main reason for the delay in launch is that our complete 2021 sponsor lineup has not been finalized. I have been hard at work with some potential sponsors that will determine the look and feel of my program for this year. I want to make sure we can put together products that will be relevant to our 2021 race program and I think the fans will appreciate it as well.

Keep your eyes on www.kwarmy.com for updates on 2021 enlistment.

2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Team:

I can confirm that for 2021 we will be continuing with the Ducati Panigale V4 R platform for a third straight season, and I'm really excited to see what we can put together on the technical side to give us a better opportunity for success in all 9 rounds scheduled this year. We have been able to retain a number of sponsors from past years, and I want to thank them for stepping up and helping be a part of the growth and success of KWR.

Lucas Oil Products will be back with us for 2021, providing lubricants for both the race bikes and the semi transporter, as well as my personal vehicles. Their products are made in the USA and take excellent care of all of our equipment, not to mention their cleaning products and SlickMist.

Excelsus Motorsports Graphics is one of our most valuable partners, providing vehicle wraps and other large (and small) scale print products for our team. Excelsus makes us look good on and off the track, whether it is the bike itself or any signage you see in our paddock space.

Ducati Richmond is back with us again this year, the Vancouver area Ducati dealership that has been supporting our team since we moved to the Panigale platform in 2019. Doreen and her staff (who are more like family) run the premiere destination for all things Ducati in Westcoast Canada.

SC-Project USA by Motovation USA is back again supporting us with their top quality Italian exhaust systems, and we will be using the all new double under tail WSBK system from SC-Project to give us the increased torque (and looks) that we all love.

KATO Fastening Systems are once again a major partner of KWR in 2021. The leading manufacturer of Tangless thread inserts and repair kits. KATO products recently landed on Mars, as NASA's Perseverance Rover is equipped with KATO Tangless inserts. It is easy to see why we trust their thread inserts for our own high speed exploration (on Earth).

KWR would also like to welcome back TechSpec, our grip material supplier for tank and seat materials used on all KWR motorcycles. We also are happy to have our technical partners in Cordona Quickshifters, Cox Racingroup, Corsa Garage, TK Rotors, Hustlehard Racing, SBS Brakes, GB Racing, Zero Gravity Windscreens, Capit Tire Wamers, MWR Air Filters, OZ Wheels, STM Clutch Italy and RaceBolt UK.

My personal safety equipment sponsors 6D Helmets and Alpinestars once again give me the best gear possible to protect me on the motorcycle.

Big Announcement March 15:

We have some exciting news coming down the pipeline for March 15, 2021 that pertains to our MotoAmerica campaign. Stay tuned after Daytona for the latest on everything KWR.

Hope to see you guys at the track!
