Biography
Kyle Wyman began racing at the age of eight, competing in amateur flat track events across the country throughout his youth. At 16, he turned professional, continuing in flat track before transitioning to road racing in 2008 at age 18.
In 2012, Kyle founded KWR (Kyle Wyman Racing) to support his own racing efforts and create opportunities for other riders. That same year, the team became a major presence in the AMA Harley-Davidson XR1200 series, fielding over 30 different riders across three seasons. Balancing the roles of rider and team owner, Kyle managed every aspect of the program, gaining early experience that would shape his future in the sport.
He moved into the MotoAmerica Superbike class in 2016, continuing to grow the KWR program while competing against the top riders in the country. In 2017, he earned his first Superbike podium at New Jersey Motorsports Park—a breakthrough result for both himself and the independent KWR team.
In 2019, Kyle won the Daytona 200, one of the most historic races in American road racing. That same year, KWR partnered with Ducati, bringing the brand back to U.S. Superbike competition. Later that season, he delivered a double third-place finish at Road America, earning Ducati its first AMA Superbike podiums in over a decade.
In 2021, Kyle joined the Harley-Davidson Factory Team to compete in the Mission King of the Baggers series. He won the championship in the series’ first full season and, as of Daytona 2025, has earned 20 career victories in the class.
Off the track, Kyle has been a lead instructor at Yamaha Champions Riding School (ChampSchool) since 2014, helping riders develop their skills through a fundamentals-based approach. He continues to run KWR as a Harley-Davidson factory-supported team, now operating with three riders in the Super Hooligans Championship, while remaining active as a competitor himself.
